Project overview

Noho, an eco-friendly furniture company, was launching its first online store. Our goal was to design a user-friendly experience built entirely from scratch.

With no existing structure in place, our first challenge was aligning on design decisions and feature priorities. I led the design process, ensuring user needs and business goals stayed closely aligned throughout the final product.

How I helped the team align, focus, and execute

I led a 4-day workshop that helped the team align on product goals, foster open dialogue, and make high-impact design decisions.

This collaborative process gave me clarity on both UX strategy and visual execution.

4-day workshop

Day 1

Understanding the target consumer

Clients explored key consumer categories—demographics, interests, pain points, and behaviors—then brainstormed characteristics using post-its.

Day 2

Creating user journey

Once we understood the target consumers, participants mapped their journey on the e-commerce site to visualize and align it with their needs and behaviors.

Day 3

Brainstorming and prioritizing product features

In the two-day workshop, the team clarified consumer and business needs, brainstormed features to improve UX and promote the brand, and I guided the prioritization of these features using the Dot-Vote technique.

Day 4

Sketching solutions

Participants selected one feature they were most interested in and created detailed Solution Sketches to describe how each solution would work.

The outcome

98%

Task completion

9/10

Brand likability

I ran unmoderated user tests with 12 participants on high-fidelity prototypes. Positive overall, but we simplified the purchase flow after feedback on overwhelming features.
